Hey folks I know the engine slots straight in no probs as I've removed and replaced a few but never mucked about with efi stuff before! Because my cab is already efi can I plug the frst engine loom and ecu in and run it as is or do I need to splice some wires together? Cheers in advance for replys etc

 

Have a read of the sticky at the top of the room. You can literally slot the engine in and connect it to the existing loom. Then add an OFAC ECU and MAP sensor and you have a cheap upgrade. No new looms required.

I think with ofab u need change two wires at ecu ones an 02 n cant remember wat other was.
Wen i put my ofab in i wired it via two yellow relays.
Ran mint for a year daily until i recently stripped it for a reshell.
This time im after a 1.3 shell with no sunroof and will use my full xr3i efi loom and wire it propperly. So my new ofam ecu sits between footwells. Its a doddle if ur already on efi mate
