hi
nice project . i will be following in this one with much interest
but i cant belive you scraped that crystal blue shell
even more so with the side rubbing strips on. ive been after them for ages with no look and you bin them
good look with the project

a update
got the sierra on hit side
sanding en grinding to lose the old paint
degreased with thinner
painting al the smal corners en edges
end and of the day i was ready

I don't get the fuss, if it's a bad shell then why bother restoring it if you have a better one avalible?

Who said the Mercury Grey shell was bad? And personally I don't really think the Crystal Blue shell was that bad either... The problem is simply that it still seems they make more money in parts than as a whole.

the blue and grey sierra both have demage and was not wort it to repair them
on photo everyting looks oke butt in real live both car's are horrible

Today have some work done on the rear brake's
before..
The plan was to fit scorpio cosworth station brake's
butt i found in me workshop some newer brake's
put them togetter and lay them next to the old one's
on the rear axle
now waiting the get new brake line's and brakepads en disc's

Sander told me before and now he also posted it a few posts above
But indeed the fetchs more money in parts that complete. But then again it means we have more spare parts for our cars

To day have some work done on the sierra
a little bit of welding
test fitted the strutbrace
after allot of sanding en grinding
the enginebay in primer
and looking for a new place for the battery
