Default MK1 Ford Focus TDDI

Needed a diesel car for work so got this,
Its a focus 1.8 tddi CL model, basic spec, but this makes it more fun to build

First of all added the tddi badge,

then added ghia rear noot handle

Clear side repeters and lx trims

Had a mess

Ghia dash trim

Ghia leather steering wheel

Colorcoded front bumper trims

Colorcoded grille,

Sidelights

interior light

Front foglights, and refitted front rubber splitter

For now thats it, owned it since 25th of may and i'm happy

its really economical for what i need and hopefully will look good in time,
hoping to get wheels next

miss my mondeo tho

Also being the basic model it diden't have remote locking,
So after abit of resarch i found out it needed the control box, first i got one from a mk1 but that was diffrent as mines mk1.5 diffrent box, went to a fordspares place who ggave me a mk3 mondeo one to try, it worked fine and now i also have lane chane feature, wiper on when reversing in rain feature lol but best of all i could program this

New ford flip key, grey mod love it

I absolutely LOVED my Mk1 TDDi Focus CL....200k on her and still went like a train. Until some cunt in an artic on the M1 drove over the front of her really miss that car. My replacement Mondeo is a bloody good car and goes like stink but I preferred driving my old Focus.

Why have you put the headunit fascia at the top? It's meant to go underneath.

The wifes radio surround is in the other way round. Have you got an adjustable intermittent wiper stalk fitted? I fitted one to the wifes focus.

Amazing transformation. Small question, where was the mondeo photo taken? Looks like that is the A628 or the A6024. Where you based?

Big difference in the car in 2 months, much better.

When did Ford change over to the 115hp TDCi engine in the Focus?
