Anyone driven one of these? Have heard rave reviews about them and Clarkson seems to rave about them.... Always liked RS4's in the past but having driven one a few months ago I wasn't as impressed as i was hoping i'd be (still a great car but not for me).... Fancy selling my current merc soon for something a bit different...

Yeah they are nice but I think the gearbox would piss me off tbh (hence being a little put off the M3's!). I've got a 2007 325 m sport coupe as well at the mo and although i imagine hte gearbox is different to an M5 (steptronic?) I fookin hate the thing, sooo slow response etc...

 

The way I see it is all the others are commen against the merc you never see them there very very nice cars if I was looking for a car with that price tag that's what I'd be driving

 

These are very nice, sound the part also, but if you got that sort of budget, may be worth considering a R35 GTR.

nup one was offered to me under part ex for 25k last week!!! Few months time i reckon they will all be there! There is a one owner white one with 35k on the clock for Ł29500 on pissyheads!

Nothing wrong with a M3 DCT box.. A human cant possibly shift a gear quicker than the DCT and its smooth as anything. The smg box in the M5 is shit in comparison, tbh shouldnt even compare them.

 

I really was considering one of these on my return from working abroad, but they are just shy of 30K and i dont think i can justify it with a family, if i were single thou.......

They sound awsome and have great road prescence!

A mate of mine has one, hope to have a drive of it sometime. He let me drive his m63 amg and that was pretty damn good so the c63 being a ton lighter and rwd will be pretty lively! If I had the cash I'd buy one for the noise alone...

 

i get to drive them at work when they come in are really nice and sound great . the new c63 coupe is really nice

There Performance pack 1 features uprated suspension, brakes, an LSD and a few other bits over the 'regular C63 and Performance Pack+ taking it to 500bhp very expensive to buy.

Me Personally would have it in black

 

Thats real nice mate but thats an SL not a C!! The C is the 4 door saloon, I have the earlier SL500 at the mo, very similar minus the supercharger unfortuntely!!!

Chris, there's so many of these driving round the city of London now. Getting as common as black cabs now. Awesome looking and sounding cars.

 

I dont think the a LSD diff is part off the performance pack I think it a extra on top .

 

My mate had one a few months back. Went on the Mercedes driving course for it at Mercedes World in Weybridge. Said it felt like you were strapped to a fucking rocket! Parts are stratospheric as well. Think it was Ł800 just for brake pads (carbon) and about Ł300-Ł400 a corner for your rubber. But if you can afford the fuel bills, this won't pose to much of an obstacle!

 

im sure the lsd is a extra .i dont think it comes with the performance packs
