I wonder can anyone help here, I have a couple of Pumas in sweden www.icedrivesweden.com My pal there has lost the keys.....
So Uk local dealer needs cars so thats no hope

A guy in Denmark can drive over 1200 miles and reprogramme and cut keys for bothe cars but its £2000 which is more than they are worth.

However the cars are in great condition and do a brilliant job on the frozen lake, so is there another way round it

EG a breaking puma, would the key , ignition barrel and ECU do it, or do i need other parts, Is anyone breaking a 1700 both are 1999 models

yes those parts will fix it
if you want to be more violent you could get round it

 

Thats brilliant thanks, I guess I have to get the same year [1999] ecu, keys and ignition barrel [with coding ring],
I definitely wont need to code the car to anything else then??
As cars are in Sweden, I cannot get part numbers!!

i think aslong as the speedo/odometer matches so digi or analoge
you can swap the ecu and key easily
im not sure the ring matters but if you like...
if it were me i'd get an ecu and key swap the ecu and use take a door lock out to have another key made from the locks code and use the new ecu's key as a fob/keyring just to work the immobiliser

its easy to have a key cut from any lock but its the coding that costs and sucks
