In which case, the alarm wont interfere with your Pectel engine loom at all..........

dont I??????
well it isn't a NORMAL loom, as it was made for my car.
as ALL and EVERY WIRE in my car looks exactly the same
and i have a recept for the loom too.
click the pic, and note the wiring to the steering column. of course thats normal on cossies

and again NORMAL loom on ECU plug

and of course all cossie have these too

Spiky - I'd expect the ECU wiring harness to be like that if you have a Pectel loom, as that's the er.......... Pectel loom!
I just wouldn't know what the rest of the car wiring is like......... I have my Cat 1 alarm still in the car....

so how can you say i DONT have a pectel loom in the car?????
Because I thought Pectel made looms for the ECU, which I noted you have.
I wasn't aware that Pectel made looms for the rest of the car (bearing in mind the ECU loom is separate).
So to clear it up, yes you have a Pectel loom connected to your ECU.
Exactly which part of a cat 1 alarm connects to your ECU loom then?

thats my first post.... again did you miss it?..
you have a habit of assuming ALOT
ignore ALL other posts and reply to that one
Okay - so YOU are assuming that the rest of the car loom (excluding the engine loom - remember they are spearate) is made by Pectel?
What is special about your loom, apart from the fact that it has overbraid on it? 90% of my car loom is covered in that stuff, but that doesn't mean it's special.........

i didn't assuming... i thought
and as far as i know by tim, it's a grp A loom ( i know, i know, grp a this grp a that)
but i dont want some monkey killing it, when it will be worth money when the car is written off

Right, okay......................
............. but nearly all the loom will be exactly the same (except stripped for weight where you don't have certain items)................. so any competent alarm fitter should be bale to install it properly.
In fact, if anything, the job should be easier because of the lack of wiring in the car like ABS/ leccy windows..(I presume that's gone.......) etc etc.......
