Hello Ford fanatics!

This is the latest update about the ‘’European Ford Event 2012 Holland ’’.
Maybe some of you have already heard about it. The owner of FlevOnice has gone bankrupt and the curator sees no possibilities to proceed with the event.

Of course we’ve put a lot of effort in trying to answer the question: ‘’How to handle this?’’. All the options have been considered. We’ve tried everything to try to find an other location to proceed with the event.

We can’t force permits and it must be financially achievable for the club. And we mustn’t forget that on short term we have to be able to organize a lot of important things, especially the advertising campaign.
The conclusion is very deliberate and all the board members have agreed.
The ‘’European Ford Event 2012’’ has been canceled.

Very disappointing, but it is what it is.
We want to thank everyone who, in any way, has felt concerned with the situation. We also want to thank the various clubs which would have cooperated with us for the EFE 2012.

This does not mean that the concept ‘’European Ford Event’’ will disappear. We will try to turn up a wonderful event in 2013.

really sad news but we are gonna do our best to be really good back in 2013 with hopefully a new venue. So hopefully this is only second time in 20 years history of the European Ford Event that it has to be cancelled. First time was just in beginning of the event.

If we know more about 2013 we would share this immediately with you guys!!
