fitting to a cosworth trying to remember as when i last done one im sure i was told to chuck the 1 way valve part that comes with it

Keep it.

However, makesure it does actually work as I've fitted many brand new ones that don't work worth a fcuk!

Original RS turbo/Cosworth valves seem to still work fine 15yrs on so don't know why they can't get the new ones right!
