Default im new to the forum, bought rst last week

hi i am new to this forum, i bought my escort rs turbo last week as an investment to sell on quickly however i am now having second thoughts and i will most likely restore it now.

the car is running 197.6 bhp, still working out whats under the bonnet using reciepts and investigating.

there is some cosmetic rust and i though it needed a respray but the paint has come out fine with some 3m cutting compound.

anyway pics below let me know what you think.

the stealths are nice but im after some cossie wheels really so they might be up for grabs soon

Not too much just two holes one in the skuttle and one in the drivers side rear arch, but that has gone now.

Did you remove the windscreen and replace the panel? How did you replace the roof ? Because the roof rusts from the inside so when it showing on the outside it's bad.

The wind screen is coming out next weekend, the roof is going to be cut out and re skined i am aiming to have all the rust work done by next wednesday provided the donor car for the roof is all good. whilst i am at it i will probably reinforce the roof cos they are like drinks cans ive noticed.

I hate rust lol.

realy happy the car hasnt been attacted with filler before hate that stuff should only be used to smooth the surface. had cars before and i have had to dig filler out of some strange places.

pictures will be up soon of all the work.

I am still working on her but if i get decent money I'll let her go. got my volvo 850 which is my main project and we have 8 cars on the drive at the min so could do with the space.

pulled out all the sound system last week and re wired it, then i rewired the boost controller and shift lights and got them working. we bought a compressor this week so i can finally crack on with the body work and prep for the re spray if she isnt sold by then.
