Default Escos slight clonk fixed now tracking is out!

Right I drove the Escos yesterday and from a stopped position it makes a slight clonk on pull away from the near side Front wheel, it also does it when you approach a junction as you just come to a stop and then again when moving off, I havnt had chance to get the wheels off the ground but I can see it has poly bushes for anti roll bar that mount to the car, poly for where the tca mounts to the cross member and also where the anti roll bar comes through the tca and they all look in good order. The actual ball joints are standard obviously and when looking I can see on the front face of the tca's that they still have the v8674 etc numbers on them so would they still be original ford items, looks as though they where just painted silver to freshen them up, would they cause the knock I described ?

I can't complain really Pete the car is mint and all the hard work has been done for me this time, just a few niggles 1 being the dash lights where all blotchy so I changed the el sheets behind the dials, 2 the heater didn't work so a quick flush and it's now fine, 3 outer cv boot and then this knock so not all bad. I think it is the tca ball joint but I just wanted to see if anyone has had the same symptoms

Fixed the clonking noise, which turnt out to be a worn ball joint, trouble is i have pos toe out now so i take it the after market bottom arms are slightly shorter than the ford items ?, is this usual to happen when changing the tca's ? The parts came straight up with the use of my reg number and only showed 2 part numbers for left and right.

Well ive already changed the pair for the same manufacturer parts so hopefully just a visit to have it tracked should sort it out.
Ive measured them and from the centre point of the ball joint to the centre point of the bolt hole (crossmember mounting) the new ones appear to be 5mm ish shorter, but i think this is down to my old ones having proflex bushes being fitted on that end and they seem to be off centre which makes them a tad longer compared to the new ones. So with the new ones being that bit shorter it would pull the wheels in giving me the toe out ?

As long as the camber is ok the toe can be adjusted.

Well its all tracked and fixed now till something else breaks , here is a pic of what was making the clonk,

pinch bolt was hardly done up this side which led to this, good job i caught it in time before it damaged the hub or even popped out
