Default is this a cossie block ?

Does anyone know if this is a genuine cosworth block ?
And anything about its possible history.

Markings on block are.
35 020
205
/ 85hm6915B-B

It has YBB5884 stamped on front of block, no engine number.

Thanks for the info.
The ad hints that it might be an RS500 block, I think they were claimed to have smaller welsh plug holes and were a heavier , at least some were (the race ones), not sure if the block numbers are any confirmation one way or the other.

Hi Mike,

Yes we have been quiet on here for a while, Linc is very busy at work... I am busy too but recently I have been getting into the car again. I will have to post some pics for you, I have been just sending them to Linc direct to keep him interested ( he was in Germany recently)... We did some interesting comparisons on flow benchs of his head versus mine.

Next step is to get those long studs you supplied put in, finding a decent engineering shop is the challenge... as I want the bottom end done as well as you would expect.

Drop us a line on where you are up to

Gavan

I wonder if this was used by DJR the year before RS500 cam out. It looks like one of his, that water pump is pretty much what he had...
Unfortunately when I chatted to the guy the block has had all the cosworth crank and rods replaced with std pinto gear...
Thanks for the help guys
