hi im 16 nearly 17 does any body know what classic ford would be cheapest for me to insure? thanks in advance

None at all at that age. Best bet is to get something hideously uncool and the lowest insurance group possible like a Daewoo Matiz or Fiat Sceicento. And don't be tempted to get mum or dad to insure it and then you be a named driver as this is illegal (insurance fronting see "insurance fraud").

Sorry to be blunt about it but until you have some NCB and age under your belt you've little chance of insuring anything interesting or fun. Friend of mine has a younger half brother and he's paying £3400 for a 1.2 Corsa TPFT

go for something with a 1000cc engine or less

I thought mk1 Fiesta's were supposed to be 'cheap' to insure for youngsters?

the mk1/2 1 litre fezzes are not cheap compared to their rivals

you can get a better car for less money
