Default Time for a change....

Ive been thinking the past few month about hanging up my Cosworth shirt and today Ive made the decision to go through with it. I lost the love for my car a while ago and although I kept persevering with it when I came across more obsticles I still didnt "want" to do it as much as I felt I had to do it. Now after a lot of thought Ive made the decision to sell up all the bits of my car and the hoardings Ive collected over the years of owning them. So PF vultures be on the lookout soon .

If I were to finish it Id never use it as on sunny days I prefer to leather up go out on the bike. The ever increasing fuel cost makes it something that I really couldnt afford to use the car anymore, I could stick £30 in here and there and blat around the doors but I cant afford to be putting £70+ in just for a day out in the country around the twisties and home. I like driving and going places and still do it for recreation so putting 10 -12k a year on each of my cars isnt unusual even when Ive got 3 or 4 sat outside and the bike sees about 5k a year too. If I go anywhere local I cant be arsed with the chew on of getting it out, warming it up and then looking for somewhere out of the way to park it etc etc, so Ill just jump in the Land rover and dump it anywhere.

Plus if I want to drive one again Ive got Helens

The end is nigh

Your reasons seem very valid to wash your hands mate... I wish you all the best.
