Default 044 fuel pump loom, which cable rating to use?

Ok quick question, I bought a 044 loom from a tuner a while ago (can't remember where) and the wires are too short. Anyway I need to replace the section that goes from the relay to the pump, what sort/size of cable should I use? Bearing in mind I can't seem to get the same size cable locally when I took the small part of the loom into various paces, I think it's 30 amp but not 100% certain. I DON'T want to use stereo amplifier cable so please dont suggest that.
