Whats the spec of the car, what suspension, brakes, fuel system, guages, tanks, hoses, exhaust and so on, what wheels do you have, you will need to budget for that also and that's realistically at least 1/3 of your budget already. Speaking from experience if you haven't allowed for those bits already i'd take half of that 6k figure for the engine and use the rest to buy all the acessories, or you'll end up with an unfinished car or something that is shit and unreliable to drive.

Tbh, with that amount of money, you would ideally want a 200 block, where as yours is a 205.

It may well be ok, but it's a bit of a lottery with big power, if that is what you have planned.

As said, really, you need to factor in the cost of the car chassis mods as well.

Nice! Well my question still stands really, is the 6k your whole budget or just for the engine alone? I'm not trying to be awkward but it spirals out of control very fast and takes 3 times as long to finish if you run out of money, i've just spent 3k on what I though was a simple turbo upgrade so just making ure you cover all the bases first. (And it's still not finished)
