Does it still have the UK registration on it?

If not, if you get the chassis number someone may be able to find the registration?

I need talk with the actual owner, but i see the car with a mexican number plates, but the car has not legal plates... "mexican style". I am going to see the car the next days and i want take a photo of the chasis number.
In spain the "MOT" put a sticker in the glass with the plate number , in uk is similar ?

Best Regards.

No there isn't a requirement for the MOT to be displayed. You do get a sticker on the certificate if you really wish to stick to your wind screen, forehead etc.

Check all the windows to see if a registration number has been etched into the glass.

Do you know the UK plate format?

You have the UK vin number now on that picture.

Shouldn't it be a WFOB though?

In the Americas there was a company called "Auto Latina" (Ford and Volkswagen) that build the Escort like this. But it has the 1.8L motor from the VW Rabbit/Golf.

So maybe you can get parts from Brazil or Argentina?
