Default Whos insured with need2insure?

Just a question....Ive got a 5000 mile limit on my policy with being 17 i think... How do they prove youve done under/over the mileage? do they ask for another pic of the speedo?

I'm with them with the same deal. They do request a photo of the speedo before starting the policy. Give Paul a PM, he'll see you right

I've never understood why people don't just ring the company. Get it straight from the horses mouth.

I've been with them a couple years. Great service, great prices and few pics of the car and speedo is all they need. Easy

Any specialist policy will ask you for photos of the car, millage is done on a trust relationship really, as with any insurance company, plus you would be invalidating your insurance by exceeding the threshold, it would come to light in the event of an accident etc.

Sorry People, Was only asking I have took pics of the car and sent them his way, was just a general question on how he proved the 5000 mile at the end of the policy, im not going to wind the speedo back or anything, thats fraud! No need to get ropey....

We'll technically they don't have to prove anything, you do.
If you tell them it's done 10k miles and then you have an accident a week later and it's done 16k miles you're hooped, and every year they will ask you at renewal, and if you've gone over your limit for that period you might get charged a premium, so it's always in your best interests to be honest, you're the only one losing out if you arent honest at the end of the day.
I'm with greenlight but I'm going to change soon.

Well I wish I got Paul on the phone instead of his colleague...I've been waiting for a call back for a quotation for 3 weeks now. I will be phoning again but I will definitely be asking for Paul this time round.
