Default Places to stay in Nurburgring area??

I'm planning to go over at the beginning of August and was just wondering where you guys would recommend for a three night stay within 5 miles of the circuit??

Not keen on camping and having to lug all the related stuff around, so looking for B&B/Guest House/Hotel type accomodation.

Cheers,
Grant

http://www.am-tiergarten.de/

or if I am with a girl I stay at the http://www.lindner.de/en/congress_mo..._nuerburgring/

(on a side note... I travel ALOT... and I mean ALOT! and the Lindner has THE finest selection of in room Porn I have ever ever come across, most of it in full HD! I almost didnt make the track one day )

for your first time there though, its a no brainer to stay at the Tiergarten. Its restaurant is the PistonKlause which is the 'heart' of the social scene in my opinion.

whats dates you going? I'm always looking for an excuse to go!

As a side note, if you go to Eddies (the place rstoughy mentioned) then ask for an appartment, they've got balconys overlooking the track and a kitchen area

Edit to add: Also Michaelas place has pool table, bar and xBox

...although the Lindner is sounding very promising.

Looking to leave UK on an evening ferry on Saturday 11th August and leave Germany in the morning of Wednesday 15th August and catch an evening ferry home... if the dates work for you then it'd be great to meet up for a few laps and a couple of beers later.

Cheers,
Grant
