Default How can i tax a car without a log book or reminder?

i'm waiting for a new log book from dvla after a plate transfer only the car tax runs out today and the reminder has the old registration on!

What are my options? will the post office accept the plate transfer letters/current tax disc with the new reg on or what?

dont think u can, you need the doc reference number to do it online and the papers to do it at the post office.

If you aren't displaying the new plate use the reminder, then DVLA will issue a new disc later with the new number on
