Default Had the car on the rollers again...Valve springs/valve bounce?

After going zvh and having lots of issues, would like to thank Iain and the lads at power Engineering for all the hard work they put in and very very cheap bill considering!, i make the 100 mile journey each time due to the great service they provide.

Was aiming for 200bhp, but made 185.7bhp and 196lbft at 15psi, ian told me i should have VALVE SPRINGS to go with my cam which i got 2nd hand,

Still after leaving felt like a different car! and would recommend anyone to visit as all 4 times i have visited they have MORE than looked after me

i was just wondering if any graph experts could tell me.....

Iain said the VALVE SPRINGS were the fault AND I WAS GETTING VALVE BOUNCE hence the graph tailing off but after leaving i noticed the new (600mile) clutch wasnt appreciating the boost and slipping on boost, and im not questioning Iain as he REALLY knows his stuff!!!! but before i ring the lads to bore them does the graph say that too you? or would a slipping clutch show the same sort of graph (on boost?) just dont wanna bug iain if anyone can make sense of it, gunna go for an uprated clutch asap anyways heres a few pic of the graph and car on the rollers

Made up with how well she pulls now although its No high power 400bhp cossie

Sorry just noticed in your sig stage 2 T3, so I'm assuming .36/50?
That will flow for 230bhp on a 1.6 CVH so should be very very similair on your engine but not at 15psi of course.
The power doesnt really tail off either, it drops by about 10bhp from 5750 to 6000 when he lets off, thats normal.
From just the graph and your spec I would say you just need to run more boost to make your target BHP (and some bigger injectors), is the head untouched?
Oh and the CVH35 is a hydraulic cam profile not for use with solid lifters... Look at Kent website http://www.kentcams.com/product-deta...'-R-'/

Thanks for the info!, yes its a standard head, will just bang a decent clutch in and enjoy it for now, not into chasing figures

not a bad result, cvh35 cam is a hydraulic profiled one, had the same once before.
plenty of head work and more boost is what you want to get more out of it.
infact why not a cosworth 4wd turbo?
i ran one on my 1.8zvh with 23psi boost and that just took off at 3000rpm, really was a fast setup, never had it dyno'd though due to a cracked piston in the end.

Why did you go ZVH? Surely a standard CVH with a chip can do that kind of power.
