Well after fitting my auto specialist plenum today with next to no problems at all
I'm leaving nice and early for the 160 odd mile trip to see Tony in the morning
i just hope the old galoppy makes it!
What do i need to take with me to put him in a good mood from the off???
tea, biscuits and a copy of razzel I was thinking?
Anything else i need to know other than don't mention ex wives!

Well where do I start??
First off massive thank you to Tony for actually spending time to run through the ins and outs of 'mapping' with me!
We spent a lot of time looking at the features of the ECU (link) and trying to work out why more than half of the features were not enabled!
Without getting my nose stuck, fook me does Tony know his shit!!
Yesterday was the first time someone I have taken the car to has even bothered to check it over!
We've reduced boost by about 4-6 psi and seen a noticable difference in power (more), by eliminating the surge and AFR of 10:1 that I previously had!
Activated features like over run fuel cut, corrected issues with ISCV and cold start,
created 2 stage boost (still to see if I can get a variable boost set as the ecu can work with a separate input) correctly set the throttle position sensor, input correct limits (rpm, map, voltage) and had every shitty bit on the car pointed out to me!!!!

Theres still a lot todo on the map and I'm confident that i can get through most of it myself but will be back up north to see the man very soon, 6 deg beam and supra diff to be ordered very soon
Also wanted to say a big thank you to John for all your help, taking over from the tea making duties so I could be educated, changing my fuel pump and offering me a place to stay (think he had a thing for me)lol seriously top bloak thanks alot
There's loads of other things we got through and if Tony gets a chance I'm sure he'll jog my brain.
So once again a massive thank you to Tony for a very long, educational enjoyable day
I had a brilliant day and have left far more confident with the car so all in all exactly what i went for.
One last thing, is it me or does Tony have a slight resemblance to Christopher Lloyde?
I was looking for the Delorean and expecting to leave with a Flux Capacitor and 21.1 jigga watts
LOL
FAO Steve you can relax, Tony says your car is slightly faster!
For the moment!!!!!!
