Default idle problems

hi there this is my first post on here,i have a 57reg focus st2 with stage 3 mods, whats happening is the idle takes a few moments to settle after revving the engine, the rev counter needle jumps about then it will settle and idle ok,this all started after a garage fitted some rs injectors,i have taken the lower inlet off and can not find any cracks and sprayed brake and clutch cleaner everywhere when running the car,i have no fault codes either,it really is annoying, has anyone got any ideas before i have to take it to a garage, thanks mark.

Are the injectors of the same size as the ones replaced?
Why did they fit the rs injectors?
Do you have part numbers for the injectors? Both new and old?

Well, call superchips then. It obviously is NOT running these injectors without problems.
If the bluefin update is for the original injectors, then refit them.
If I read this the original injectors should be used: http://www.mybluefin.co.uk/search?ma...2&variant=2025

Only a few maps will run the RS injectors unless specified - Mod X from Dreamscience is an awesome map and can be ran with RS injectors all day long.

Well over on the stoc there are quite a few running stage 3+ on rs injectors, some have even been on a rolling road with no problems, superchips have confirmed that you can run 440 rs injectors on there stage3+ file,if it were the injectors it would go into limp mode after a while and it does not,but i think your right for the sake of an hours work i will refit the standard ones and see what happens, your link is for stage 3,there is also a 3+ .
