Default dumpvalve question

My mate recently got me a baileys dv. Put it on and it sounds ok, but anything higher than 2-3 psi it sounds abit mad when it dumps.? Like a high pitch sound similar to chatter? Its a baileys dv 24

Dv24 is a single piston suitable for fiesta rst's and all cars without an airflow meter, the dv26's were suitable for escort rst's and all cars with an airflow meter. so m8 you need the dv26 as it wont idle properly with a dv24

Or just block the return on the metering unit and breathe to atmosphere (which I would recommend anyway).
