Default Sapph Cos ICE Install

Right, car's off the road so it's a good time to sort out my ICE install. I have a 12" in its own box, CD player and soundstream amp.
Have you any pics of boot installs I can use for inspiration ?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, that sounds good, any pictures of the spare wheel build in progress ? Is it a square box going into a round hole, or are you making the box round-ish ?
I am sorted up front, really only interested in the boot...
Good luck with your install.

Only running one sub, not a massive install, ideally keep the boot as useable as possible, I like the idea of the sub in the spare wheel well.
Your looking nice btw

using the spare wheel well is a superb way to minimize the amount of space taken up . u need to strengthen it up a fair bit using fibre glass and ideally mdf strips , but the wheel well has only just under 2 cubic foot of useable air space , so you needa sub that has been designed to work in a small enclosure .
you,l also need to remove the fuel cutoff from the well as the vibes directly inside it will trip it .
if you want the sub to think its in a slightly larger enclosure it might be worth thinkin about running it magnet out !!
one last thing , subwoofers were never designed to run flat , which means you will need slightly more power to keep controll over it properly (compared to a woofer in the upright position)

I was thinking about building an MDF enclosure to drop in the well, would I still need the strengthening you mentionned ?

Measured it up and it looks feasible.

I have plenty enough power, not a bass junkie, just want enough to back fill...

Thanks for the pointers.

In my car i have (im not sounds expert, i just like it so excuse me if i get it wrong)

Alpine TV head unit, plus my trusty old Alpin 7939r CD head unit
Phoneix Gold components front and back! The front ones are big with slioghtly smaller at the reat (cant remember size)
BBG Amps running the system
2 12" JL top of the range W3' in the boot,
2 TV's in head rests
Playstation
TV Tuner, plus loads of other boxes in the boot to run it all Safly!
Erm there is more but i forgot

All i know it sounds nice! Though when they set it up, my bro toke the car and they asked how i want it set up. He said for quality which is ok, but its not the bassy as what it was before getting set up So need someone else to set it up as i dont want to go back to the guy who installed it. I dont get along with him really

Can you post or email any pics of the boot install please ?

If you were more local to me, I could recommend a place, but I can't recommend anyone in wales. Sorry.
