I thought the small turbo model was a T25?

T34.63 on the big turbo model.

Hybrid (T34.63) is fitted to BT.

T25 was the official ST, I know there are T28's but I suspect they are either rare models or conversions?

I think the T28 is obviously just slightly bigger than a T25 so woulden't make to flow much more air, I should think.

I thought the T28 was the TT hybrid turbo that they (Turbo Technics) offered for the ST, 300bhp rings a bell depending on other mods.

That is what I say, perhaps they offered it in addition to the T25? If so I am sure there will still be less of them than T25's.

The T28 is an after market turbo not a factory fitted one.

the standard big turbo is a t03/04 know as a t34 for obvious reason
the small turbo escort is a t28 it is a t25 exhaust turbine end with a t3 55 trim 2wd compressor
and 25 and 3 make 28 so it is a t28
it is not a t25

Then how comes Ford marketed it as the T25, just interested?

I stand corrected , you have to love the web as on another site I read that the ST had a T2 compressor with a T3 exhaust, hence T25.
