Helo all
We have a 4wd Saff making around 400 hp that has unfortunately chewed its 3rd gear. We contacted Quaife for a replacement 3rd gear , but they said they only do the whole gearbox set now and want some thousand quid for it as well
Anybody has in mind a supplier for an uprated 3rd gear cog ?

probably your best bet is to get hold of gearboxman

i know there are a few companies that used to produce a stronger 3rd/4th cluster but thats going back a few years now

 

i have been running 400 bhp for 6 years and gone through 4 boxes best thing to do is by new one from ford or by gears from ford then get them shottpinned. :
