the story goes sold my rst shell for 1k 6 weeks ago to a guy i know he came round paid £100 deposit said he ould come back with the money pick it up on the monday all good

3 weeks down the line after constant hassle he pays me another 400 and another promise now to today i gave him an ultimatum want rest of money today or i sell it to someone else who is interested im tempted to tell him to fuck off not give his money he has paid back for the time ive had to store the car at mine i feel ive been more than accomidating what would you do ?

 

Id give him till sunday nite, if not hes out of luck!

 

Keep the deposit, not the other £400, thats a bit steep. Its only been three weeks. To take £500 of someones cash is a bit harsh even if they have messed you about. The £100 deposit is more than enough imo

 

I have done it before,took a £400 dipper on a mk1 escort.He didnt pay when he said he was going to,gave him more time.No more money came to me so I sold it.Tuff shit to him imo

 

its been 6 weeks from when deposit was paid he paid the last 400 3 weeks ago i know it seems harsh but i never agreed to installments and ive had to hold fire and missed out on cossies ive wanted because of this

 

As above, and tbh let it be a learning experience and DON'T accept part payments after a deposit as it only drags it out and you end up like this. I'd give him until the END OF THE MONTH to come up with the rest and tell the other prospective buyer to wait until then. Most people get paid month end, so if he doesnt have the money by then, sell it on and give him his 400 back.

As above, he's half payed for it. To take all that would be cruel

 

tell him if it aint paid for by the end of this month then its gone and there will be no refunds
due to the time frame

if he aint got the money he should at least let you know so you could talk about it
