Id of thought a healthy engine should be 60 psi - 80 psi when cold and about 40 psi - 60 psi when hot.

Didn't know much about how they work. I knew they sit high psi at cold start as oil is cold and thicker. Just wanted to know what it should idle at when warm

was going to make a new post when i saw this, i run a 1.6 Turbo EFi, my Oil pressure reads 75 on first start up, then while driving, boost acceleration and what not it will sit in or around 50-55, then while on idle after driving like that it will sit at at around 25-28, this is on Fully synthetic motorsport oil, think its 5-30 oil not 100% im due a change of oil but its something like that.
