Some prpoer nice work there Steve.

As you wont be doing any noise goverened track days, I presume you wont be bothering putting the screamer back into the exhaust?

Oh. As another indication of size, that downpipe is FOUR INCHES comin out the turbo, not 3 like on a cossie.

zvh- No up to date ones.

PON- Yup, keepin screamer seperate. Both exhausts will be comin out the side. Dont think there will be a silencer on either of em, lol

Still no luck with MY intercooler pics (i seem to have deleted them and nobody had came forward and said they saved them- was about july last yr when posted pics), BUT i have got pics of an exact same size intercooler.

Basicly its 700mm wide, by 300mm tall, by 170mm thick. (IIRC RS500 ones are about 50mm thick )

Most aftermarket GTR ones are 100mm thick, only the special Trust drag ones are that big, and usually cost about 2000quid
But im not that stupid, so had an exact copy made by a UK company, the core is most likely better quality on mine anyhow...

I got the intercooler (and loadsa other bits n bobs) at home, but i got no digicam to take pics of it with (borrowed one especially last time).

I wish i could post pics of the car itself, but im leaving putting the body side of things back together till last as no point sorting it all first then scratching and denting the fucker putting all the engine type stuff back in it!

LOL@Phillip, not ALL, just the loud majority, and everyone knows it (well, stuck up lil bitches, whatever you want to call em), its not exactly the most friendly or helpful place is it, not unless you agree with everythnig everyone says, hence why it must have THE most busy PM system of any forum ever, nobody dares speak out in public

Adam- Yea its smart as, but i wish i still had pics of MINE (its here right next to me in bubble wrap actually) mines same size core, just different shape end tanks.

A very special one
Wont go into the exact details, but its a Precision, and its a GTS-HPS model, rated to over 900brake, mega efficient model meant for use at high boost, and as yet ive not seen the exact version listed on a website, its pretty new.

Its a shame i not got a digicam as itd be nice to show yall my most recent work to the car- with an angle grinder

Sounds worse than it is, but ive cut a piece of metal out the engine bay about 1foot square!

Basicly the compressor outlet of that turbo is 3inch (i think RS500 T4 ones are 2inch) and ive got a veeeery "special" induction system too, so had to make room, so have cut away the panel that goes from the front passenger side part of the engine bay, to behind the front bumper, so it all fits, and im still not sure if it will
Its not a structural part, and not noticable from the outside (and wont even be from the inside when all the stuff is in the bay), so it had to be done...
