Thumbs up Classic Car Tax

Most of us should be getting close to this now if we're not there already lets see if we can get 100k signatures so they have to discuss it in Parliament.

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/2622

It is to re-introduce the 25 year rolling historic vehicle tax age.

Also share it on FB, Twitter, etc.

Yep, I would sign it but like said the Goverment are closing as many doors in the system as possible, as they need to claw back as much as they can.

Guessing we have the Banks and Labour to thank for that

I think the last thing they'll want to do is open this up again.

My shed has just broke the 32 year old mark last month

To all the doubters you may have a point, but you have nothing to lose by signing it and they have to discuss it if we get 100k signatures. It might be something they will do as it wont cost much and it gives them some good news to put out there.

They should scrap it and the rest of the road tax and put it on fuel, that way the more miles you do the more you pay. But they wont, and they wont redo the 25yr job either

I really dont get why they dont do the above, as theyd make more money and make it 100% fair! Why should one person who does 2k miles in his weekend classic pay the same or sometimes more road fund than someone who does 20k miles???!!!

I agree Lee, they shouldn't have to pay the same as everyone else, or at least let us buy tax on a month-month basis but alas, the Government are all for making money so they'll fuck us however they can!
