Looking at some pics it appears the ST mk3 Mondeo has more flared front wings that the normal models so does this only affect the side skirts?

In other words can i fit a ST front bumper with normal wings or does the Zetec-s front bumper fit fine with normal wings?

Also are mk3 models galvo? mine has signs of rust...

 

Not sure about wether they galvo or not, but the Zetec-S bumper will fit fine and line up with the wings. The ST one as you rightly say, has wider wings and if you fit an ST bumper to standard wings there will be approx 5mm overhang on either side.

As said the Zetec S is a straight swap - but for ST bumpers you'll ideally need ST front wings and sideskirts too. Both cars also had different grilles although some Zetec Ss left the factory with the standard grilles, they're too short, and don't look as good.



This a ZS with the wrong grille, a ZS with the right grille, and an ST grille. All will technically fit, but not all look right.

 

Thanks, never noticed the grills being different. I can't see much between the Zetec-s and the ST bumper so i'll go the easy route and do the Zetec-s front end.(if i can find the parts).

Zetec bumpers are standard, Zetec-S ones are different.
