rs2000 mk6 fuel gauge

Default rs2000 mk6 fuel gauge

i filled the tank up on my rs and it only showed 3/4 of tank on the gauge. i checked the tank and theres nodents under neath. how can i correct this?? its driving me mad already!!!

its the float/sender in the tank sticking no doubt, crap job to do properly on a mk6

Temp gauge on mine is fooked. I swear I can see the fuel gauge on mine dropping as I'm driving. Worked it out at average 22mpg. That's quite bad isn't it?

put it this way my rs2000 4x4 used to do 35 ish mpg

The float on the level sender might have a leak and be part filled with fuel, causing it to sink a bit? Had this on one of mine.
