Default 2wd Engine Mounts???

Does anyone know which is LHS? and which is RHS? The part numbers on mine are 85HF-6038-FA and 88TF-6038-AA but have managed to mix them up

Not sure why they should have different part numbers when I took my old ones out to replace with Vibratech ones you couldn't tell the difference the Vibratech ones were identical too.

Do you mean the mounts or the arms that bolt to the block?

The reason they are different is that the left hand mounting was sourced from the V6 engine and the right hand mounting is unique to a cosworth according to the manual.

Not sure if that means the mounting arms or the rubber mount

I'd have to say I don't think it'll make any differance which way round you fit them mate.

Not 100% sure, but check the pins that the original mounts have, I believe the pin on one is closer to the bolt than the other. If you are putting uprated ones on, they shouldn't have any pin, just the bolt

Hope this helps

Thats interesting but i'd say the passenger side is fitted upside down, not sure of a reason why anyone would fit it that way?
