Default Any auto-electricians in Manchester?

Battery keeps draining on my RD Turbo and its doing my tits in now. I dont know if its a bbot light switch, dodgy central lock motor or one one the dickhead switches on the dash.

Could do with sorting ASAP so I can actually drive the thing.

If anyone local could help I would be very appreciative with a box of beers/some cash your way.

Please help

PS battery is fine. Is nearly new and holds its charge while off the car, but drains within 2 days when on car and car hasnt been touched

The easiest thing to do is put a 'Ammeter or multi meter' in the line to measure the draw, anything other than a few milliamps is not acceptable.

The remove fuses until the figure decreases, you can then isolate the problem to that circuit.

Did that lastnight, traced to interior light fuse, but god knows whats chopped into that line.

Gonna take stereo out first, see if that works. Failing that I assume it will be bootlight (which I cant actually find) or cold start purge switch...... I hope

The radio live feed will come off the interior light circuit, as will the boot light, but obviously you would see if this were illuminated or not?

Sorted. The state of the wiring behind the radio was laughable. Like spaghetti.

So, as soon as I pulled that out, the drain dropped off. Winner.

It could even be the head unit itself.
