Default Air compressor in a van?

Evening all,Now as title says really iv seen it done but how hard is it to fit a air compressor into a van and have it working? Does it need to be a certain type of compressor? Any help appreciated

Get a petrol compressor and bolt it in. Bingo

I'm not sure that a voltage invertor would be up to running the motor on a compressor of any useful size, so I'd also go for a petrol version.
Mount it so the exhaust vents out.

Not sure what the smart repair guys use, I had some paint work done and I don't remember them running a generator, but I also can't remember how it was powered, it might have been plugged in my electric as I don't remember
