ST170 Turbo?
I have a St170 engine I want to turbo.
I wanted a blacktop to start but the ST came along cheap so why not, its much newer than an old blacktop and has a better head...
Anyway, this has thrown up some questions??
The pistons and rods are different to standard fair but I'm wondering if its just a simple matter of throwing in a set of low comp cosworth or wossner forged jobs on the standard rods.
Are the rods in the ST170 the same dimensions as a blacktop? length, pin size.. Or, do I need special pistons?
Then there's the cams. ST ones are very lumpy and there's the VVT. Does this work in a turbo setup or is it best to fix the inlet to limit the overlap??
Any help would be much appreciated

Yep, looked at supercharging and NOS.. diy turbo is the cheapest and biggest bhp!
First thing I need to know if the ST rods are the same or different to a normal blacktop.
