Pics please, and how have you fitted them?

 

Not in an Escort but I did have some fitted to a MK2 Fiesta (same principal and would work in an Escort)
Was ages ago so have no pics, sorry

I got some old front seats with matching headrests. I took these seats apart and removed the metal bracket from them, kept these, the plastic inserts and the headrests and chucked everything else away.

I then removed my back seats and removed the cloth and foam. I then welded the front headrest brackets to the inside of the rear seat back. Removed enough foam to fit over the brackets and refitted the foam and covers. Two little cross slits (where the headrests would fit) and I fitted the plastic inserts through the fabric into the brackets and fitted the headrests.

Looked factory and the headrests could easily be removed if I wanted to fold down the rear seats

I also used MK1/2 orion rear headrests and brackets (saved butchering front seats) using the same technique in a MK1 Fester for a mate!

 

As above, thats how i did it in my series 2 but i used the parts from an orion rear seat ( but with recaro headrests ) and i also used the centre armrest for pics, you'll have to look in a 2000 year performance ford mag lol.
