D plate Sierra Saff Cossie?
a few of the developemnt hacks were actually on a d plate but these usually get crushed - never seen one other than a rally car which was a 3dr reshelled into a saph. this also happened with early escos rally cars which started out as saffs.

In the book "RS the faster fords" there is a pic of a C reg saph prototype with triangular bonnet vents.
Edited as I checked the book the reg of it is C866NVW
it also has 3dr wheels on.
