Default VXR INJECTORS (Again... Sorry)

hi lads, gathering a few bits for the s1 ready for the imminent rebuild. been looking for some Astra vxr injectors and a part number of what i need to try getting them through work. saw a set on egay with rail complete. just wondered are these right and correct 480 ish cc?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Astra-VXR-Fuel-Rail-Injectors-Z20LEH-Z20LET-/300676001109

thanks in advance.

beiges are 220-30 cc and vxr are 480 cc. think i`ve managed to source out a gm part number for the rail and 4 injectors. just waiting for it to come in on stock order. bout £115 from vauxhall new. karlos g got 230 bhp out of them on his cvh i would`nt have though beiges could do 200bhp as i found out my cossie blues 311cc weren`t up to it either??

But for that price it would be rude not to buy vxr injectors

Yeah im confused by the beiges, mine flow tested at 238cc/min... And i see cvh's and zvhs running 200-230bhp on a regular basis? Surely the vxr's at 440cc can push nearer 280-300bhp?

Wedge - whats your spec..

What ECU are you using? cosworth injectors are low impedance, nearly all aftermarket ecu's and all eec-iv ford ecu's high impedance injectors are what you need

Yea you'd think so, but karlos_g used vxr injectors and seemed to be getting near the limit at 230.....

Your probably best off using what you have, and seeing how far you get... is your mapping your self this isn't a big deal, but i can see why people wouldn't want to do this if it cost £3-400 for a remap/setup with each injector change....

ms1 v3 mate. phill ringwood built it with the peak hold driver for my cossie injectors i already had. low z. made a school boy error presuming dark blues could do 200 in cvh as they can do 250 in a cossie. 230 is the max i'd push my 1.6 to and im getting the vxr injectors cost so 80 quid. makes sense instead of 200 for dekas.

all i got to do is have my ms put back to use high z injectors and bang. off we go. heard that they can control high z injectors with driver fitted. might drop phil an email?

all to do with how efficient an engine is bfsc or something.lol. cvh are very low so compared to a more efficient engine the need bigger injectors for equal bhp or somthing like that? also depends on fuel pressure higher fuel pressure higher cc/min.

Sorry mate, how forgetful of me.. just rememberer your other thread about low z injectors,

cosworth greys would be a sound choice for any one wanting low impedance injectors and power potential for 300bhp.

havent the likes of rick and crazycage mapped ms on greys. think they'd be quite costly though with the price of greens.

Im pretty sure rick would have mapped crazycages car, but im sure he will have used greys at some point, drop him an email etc, if your close by and need your car mapping I wouldn't have any concerns with using him

VXR's topped out at about 230bhp on my CVH as said, beiges will not do a genuine 200bhp at 3bar of fuel pressure.

My Focus is running beige Volvo T5 2.3T injectors. Part number is 0280155766. They are 355cc/min injectors and can run upto 300bhp apparently. May not be suitable for S1 but they could be
