2wd cossy for sale SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
THIS CAR IS NOW SOLD
giving up the cossy scene and going old skool..!!!
i got this car last year as a rolling shell and put it back on the road as it was too good to scrap.
has been painted in pearl white, but just a hint of pearl not the usual puffy pink look
the engine had a problem with smoke on overun so i rebuilt it, new rings,lifters,stem seals/guides. new gaskets, water pump ,new bearings , new turbo rebuild with 360 bearing and .48 housing..engine was stripped and painted and there was still a bit of smoke on overun though nowhere near as bad as it was, so i sulked and put it away ...im about to get it out again and sell it.
the shell is ok and clean but has had some welding on the rear chassis (usual place) the welding was done by a mate of mine and was done properly.
car has full leather, secs monitor, greens 3 bar , new alloy rad ,bailey breather..was running 364 bhp in my old car but i havent had it set up since build as its only just about run in.
has a new ap clutch fitted.
has a new toad cat 1 alarm with window closure
standard airbox with pipercross panel filter.
i put amber lenses because i prefer the look but the holes for the number plate surround are there (with grommets in) so i will be putting smoked lenses/clear indicators back in so that there is no need for the grommets
car is on sorn but i can put tax on it as its still insured and mot'd till may
i will sort more pics but the first ones are the only ones i have on my computer at the mo.
i am selling because i have a mk2 rs200 to build..!!!!
car is booked on sapphire stand at central rsoc day at the pod in april
car drives straight and will make a good first cossy for someone
im pricing this to sell and as the car isnt concours i dont want tyre kickers moaning about bits and bobs at the end of the day its a straight clean car
as it is £3500 or with new mot and tax £3800
