1800 CVH
My car has the following;
1800 cvh bottom end
skimmed, ported polished xr2 head
The lad I bought it off said it needed rs turbo pistons in it. will they fit or am I right in thinking they wont.
At low revs my car has very little pick up and seems very laggy, how do I get round this

Is yours a turbo??
http://ferriday.co.uk/ build turbo 1800 CVHs, its the same engine as the 1905cc US CVH, standard pistons are too weak for turbo applications but there are some other options.
Sounds like yours has something wrong as al low revs these engines have MUCH more torque than the 1600 due to the long stroke.

i run an 1800 cvh with forged low comp pistons,steel H beam rods,big valve head,etc. the performance is awesome,227 bhp,246lb/ft of torque all at only 12psi boost. was built by Interpro Automotive and is a true scooby slayer!!!
