Default Does anywhere sell the "Superchip 195" chip anywhere new still?

As title not a advertising thread!!!!!!!!

Any places sell them new still?

Tried motorsport developments, they dont have a chip for my spec, BUT can map me one but need the car for 2 days and im in Bristol
if it comes to it will have to bite the bullet and go up there.
Tried superchips- they no longer make them
and if i look any harder through ebay/gumtree/trade it/Fiestaturbo.com/RS owners club, my eyes may fall out through overuse

Just wondering if there were any other places anyone knew off i hadnt tried?

Cheers Statey

a "195 chip" isnt suitable for your spec either

I'd go with the motorsport developments option, they'll be able to come up with something that suits your needs perfectly

Looks like i may have too, i have spoke with them and they have been very helpfull and proffesional but have no chip for my spec, but as said can map me one for £350, so looks like thats my only option left, but they are one of the best in the business ive heard.

yes they are, the big difference between MSD and anyone else selling chips is that they just told you the TRUTH whereas someone else may just sell you a 195 chip because they want an easy sale

read up on engine management and youll understand why you'll want the CORRECT chip, and not just somehtig that wil make the car drive.

the first one especially may help explain why you'll need a different map (the settings on the chip) for different engines/turbos:

just to be clear tho, i KNOW a 195 chip will make your car start and make it drive and it PROBABLY wont blow up (probably...) as youre not the first person to use one on a 1.8ZVH with a T3

Get MSD to do the job right for you and the car will be a whole heap better than with a generic 195 chip designed to work on a different engine of a different capacity with a different turbo.

Thanks for the info Jim, will use MSD then, just a quick question

Do you think i could use my matess 195 chip to get me to msd if i turned my boost down to like 2-3psi
and drive off boost all the way up there?

Thanks again for the info Jim, am just off for a roast and then i have my afternoon of reading/learning sorted for when i get back

yes you could use your mates chip, but dont turn the boost down. leave it at 7-10psi and just drive it sensibly up there
