ST220 Estate
Need new tyres very soon and wondering does anyone know what's the widest size that can be fitted to the standard 18" alloys? Standard they are 225/40/18...has anyone fitted 235 or 245/40/18's without any hassle?....answers appeciated.....Fitted 235/40/18's to wheels and fitted to rear with no probs, would'nt recomend going any wider than 235's on standard rims.

well done mate there is lots of room under there but in my Q i wanted to know if anyone had fitted 235's or 245's to the stock 18" wheels as i had some nearly new 235/40/18/tyres! they have since fitted with no probs and are on the rear n they dont look balloned!
these will become winter wheels as they are not wide enough to fit the required size tyres
