180 BHP easily if he got a Stage 1 hybrid T3 turbo fitted. I can see it getting more than 150 BHP, if your turbo is in good nick.

I'm not mate, I've used jamsport for a setup in the past and they totally fucked my car up! A mate and I set it up in the end and It's now perfect! 15psi boost, 3.2% co at idle and 14 deg. btdc and it makes around 180 bhp

thought jamsporet had a good rep? also, heard a similar horror story about a place oop north, summat tech? but they also had a decent rep at one time irc. tbh, for serious work i reckon oddkid is about the best purely for erst. seems to be a guru on management conversions.
anyway, went, had boost cut at 15psi. unusual i thought, its either chipped removing boost cut althogether or it isnt? gonna knock the boost back a couple of psi to account for dense cool evenings so it doesnt go over the 15psi. fuelling was perfect after a fiddle with the settings and some talks with ahmed bayjoo. had my reservations about the place i used today but since bayjoo was good enough to give some tips and dyno man dusted off some old mfi/rst data from way back, i was impressed. car feels a good bit quicker and revs cleaner through the range. didnt get a printout though!! was really only bothered about feel rather than hp figures. still must be over 150hp at 13psi?

if its enough for you then I wouldnt be complaining! Results sound positive which is a good thing.. But I'm telling you the boost bug will get you like it has with everyone else and you'll want MORE POWER

in relation to my power, i asked before i left. he said well over 100hp at the wheels, not sure what that equates to. bear in mind it was fuell based on 10psi but erred on the rich side as i told him id be running 13psi ish. i have a 2 stage mod where it interrupts the amal. on it boosts at 15psi (jet in amal) but off its off the actuator which is now 12-13psi.

He said well over 100 bhp? That's as good as saying it starts up. Do they not have a dyno?

they have an engine dyno, the r/road is more of a setup tool. ive not much used a dyno/r/road prior to today so im a bit green but im under the impression the system they used is old tech. i only asked casually, ie what hp do you reckon. he saw 100hp+ at the wheels. wether he looked for peak power or wether he saw that as he glanced over i dont know? my main purpose was setup but it feels quicker. wish id found out now thougfh!

ps by old tech i mean, two big ben dials, road speed (mph) and the other shows hp. does this sound familiar? there was no digital readout nor did i see a printer. tbh i was vague in my power question.

Was the dyno yellow buy any chance? Or was dials sitting in there own stand on the ground or like a small set of gauges that hung on the wall??

Saying "it's over 100bhp at the wheels" is a completely useless statement. The stock car makes 130bhp at the flywheel which would be about 100-105bhp at the wheels on 7psi. I'd be expecting a good 150bhp at the wheels.

i know. glacincing at the gauges is a good as using seat of pants method. it feels lively though. im guessing about 150-160hp but i will do a power run and get a printout. the system he used was 2 big gauges, white faced and seperate from the anyliser. he had a handheld thing aswell. tbh, the reason i dont know what power it made is my fault, i didnt make a point to find out.

So all in all Ł200 down the drain!!!

On the other end of the scale, a mate went to Jano @ Oddkid and was very happy! He did a complete setup and also does a test drive with det cans all for Ł50!!!!!

How on earth does one pay for a rolling road tuning session - and not get a printout?
Surely you are joking?

the comment in the review link explains the lack of printout!! still prices were reasonable i thought since i know the on boost fuelling is not lean. by all accounts he has a decent reputation among local people ive chatted to and the car feels very nice to drive. may make the trip to a rs specialist in the future though, someone like jano would be handy to have nearby. where is oddkid based anyway?
GVK the pic with the x2 dials looks nigh on identical what i was trying to describe mate.

If you wanted a PF endorsed power figure/pretty graph,

I know Corten Miller at Friskney nr Skegness (ish) have a Dyno Dynamics rolling road.

gvk thanks, not too far away.

canada1, my purpose was to get the fuelling setup to run more boost safely. a printout would have been a bonus to the horse was unable to operate a typewriter

The annoying thing is mate, I KNOW Jamie is very knowledgeable and can do very good work! I was just unlucky that he didn't do my setup and I got a moody cunt instead!

Thumbs up to jano, he' set up my car last year. Very friendly and gave useful info and he don't give power readings unless you want a r/r set up at extra cost. Someone stated 13psi at 150 at the wheels. If he running standard head and turbo etc, then you probably looking more at 125 to 130 at the wheels. As you say if it feels good, then that's what matters.. As long as your fueling spot on of course.

Its ok your not alone on respected tuners messing your motor up
,power engineering I won't ever return to.

Phil I hope you took it back! I'd be raging and wanting Jamie to set it up for free as you had already shelled out Ł200
