Best getting some one to weld in a harness bar into your roll cage or a welded in rear strut brace as you shouldnt have harness's below a 15 degree angle from a bucket seat mate.

Well my poly windows came today so im happy about that and ive done abit more work on the cars, My one focus is now in the air with no front suspension hubs ect and no engine or gearbox, im striping the parts i want off the engine and im putting it right next to my 1.6 block and thats two engines up for sale lol. All i need now is the last of my wages from my second job and its a trip to ford for the last of the parts i need from them (yes i have a normal job and a job just to fund my cars lol)and then ill need is a nasty set of cams for the 2.0 engine and she will be ready for driving

Also the only parts i need off my 1.8 focus now is the inernal loom and rear brakes so it won't be long now and ill be down to just two cars..

And ive fitted the gearbox in and fitted the pas pipes and coolant system and all engine mounts so all i need to fit now is an engine and loom and it will be running

My brother in law's prefered method of glass removal is with a whack of a heavy tool like a hammer in the bottom corner of the glass...Quite satisfying but a pain to clean up.

The center of the dash is slightly different. The heater dials show you where the air con is used automatically - highlighted by an orange colour if memory serves me right.

The gear knob is different too. (no longer the sierra type one)

If you do decide to smash it then tape it over first (both sides)

Less mess that away.

mk1s have holes in the sills and front wings and mk1.5s dont. (holes are there for the side skirts that are fitted to the mk1s and not mk1.5s)

also the only other diffrence in them is in the looms bumpers and headlights.
