Default Starting my saph after 18 months in the garage anything I need to do first?

As above really I'm going to stick some fresh fuel in the old girl but what other stuff should I do? Cheers.

Take the plugs out and turn it over so it gets oil pressure up with no load on the bearings before you fire it up is a good option. (unplug ecu or injectors when you do so to avoid bore wash)

I've covered 4k in 8 years of owning it lol I should sell her but feel far to attached to it!
Thanks for the advice chip I'll give it a go.

TBH cambelt and tensioner too if its been sat in one fixed position for that time.

Depends how precious the engine is to you, most of the time they are fine, depends if it was damp where it was stored etc.

i would do oil and filter as there could be moisture in the oil

take the plugs out as chippa said

make sure the battery has plenty of life init also

full resto usually

but cambelt and tensioner but the oen on it will be ok for a quick fire up

plugs, oil and filter, but crank engine over by hand first then with no coil to get oil pressure through, especially through turbo, so proberbly prime the turbo wuth oil, then fire up with fresh fuel

once you have ran it etc change fuel filter

Thanks for the replies fellas pissed off now only had the cam belt and tensioners changed a week before I laid it up!

Maybe change the brake fluid as it's hygroscopic. I would change the oil too. Check for wear on the belts and coolant level etc.
