Sparying bumper strips (URGENT)

Spraying my bump strips with halfords platic bumper paint but its really dull.
Can i put a coat of laquer on would this brighten it up abit?

In the middle of doing it now so any advice would be good!

is the area warm enough that you a spraying it in? a cold garage will leave a dull finish

Its outside :/ Put a coat of laaquer on and it seems to of done the trick!
