Basicaly im buying a wing from ford , and need a guy garage to fit it and paint it , and repair a bit on my door under wing mirror (u no the bit) but its just started i.e 2 tiny blisters and paint front bumper and ive got a couple of stone chips on bonnet next to ford badge roughly now not including buying wing (im no good at this sort of thing) and i needs to match rest of car LOL

 

for painting i would say about 400-450 maybe

 

Sounds a bit much, but if you want a good job you might just have to pay that

 

i paid 170 for a 2nd hand door, fixed (few dents) and fitted, may be expensive
in some peoples eyes but the guy is brilliant job and is sound as fook so i was
willing to pay that knowing i would get a good job done
i honestly think 400 would see a good job done, if it aint, when you pick it up,
refuse to pay then boot it so they dont catch you, LOL

 

the thing with your car is its metalic whitch takes more time to prep and paint.the good thing with it will be easier to match than solid colour .you wauld paint the wing whole then lose the colour half way through the door then laquer the whole thing this way you cant see a colour change when you stand back and look at the car.so the price in question is fair
