tbh treacle i have read most of your other thread and didn't agree with a lot of the somewhat harsh comments directed at you, instead i thought to myself "she certainly has got her work cut out but fair play for having a go".But obviously you have neither a sense of humour judging by your first `reply` ,manners,or a clue of what of the massive undertaking you have embarked upon
look forward to seeing both cars in the scrapyard some time soon

so nice of you to say but i`m sure you`re more in danger of that occurrence when you take the capri on the road for its maiden voyage

So, to add a constructive reply to this thread, why have you cut the back end of the merc off?

Actually i've just seen the thread of the Capri. This is fucking retarded.
Based on the quality of work on the Capri i'm suprised you managed to cut the back off straight.

Keep on cutting!
With scrap prices how they are at the moment you might get a £300 return on what you paid for the merc when all you have is a pile of cut up german metal.
You might even make £310 if you weigh in that shitbox crapi too.

Did you know, if you mix the word Capri, and Mercedes, and maybe add and subtract a few letters, you'll get :

Jokes aside, I cant work out why if you cherrish your old capri, why you wouldnt focus your time on sticking a big lump in that and then getting the body how you want it.
Just seems you are going to weld on some capri shaped panels onto a merc?
