Hi guys, just a quick post to spread the word. New meet planned for the North West.

Will be a regular thing every 2nd Wednesday of the month, with some play time afterwards elsewhere to keep the meet sensible and legal. Everyone is welcome, doesn't matter what you drive, so if you're in the NW and interested in cars come over and say hello and bring your mates.

Will hopefully be planning a couple track days/show goings/the odd road trip etc when it picks up properly. I'm aware that there are a few meets but this one is much broader, too many clubs these days are separating from the others, we're all petrol heads at the end of the day!

Please note this isn't necessarily a pub meet where we park up and bog off inside in tiny groups of people that know each other, its a proper meet where everyone can have a chat n get a look at the cars. Anyone and everyone encouraged to come along!

It's held at the Boars Head on the A6. J1 of the M55.

Brilliant turnout for the first meet, couple tasty fords there too, just a couple though

Next one is 11th april, food is on all night in pub and should have full carpark lighting for later on. Manage of pub is sound.

You should have come down, was a quiet meet due to weather but a few nice cars and decent people turned up.

Yeah no worries, weather will be better and fingers crossed the turnout will be decent again. No big ego's waving their cock around trying to drift etc.

what sort of cars turn up? any completly standard fords turn up just to looks at other cars and talk? would feel really out of place turning up in an old fezza not knowing anyone!!

Next meet is this wednesday, 13th June

We get all sorts turning up, I'm co-founder of the meet and i don't even have a car at the moment! We're all petrol heads so it doesn't matter too much if you haven't got a performance car, there should still be a few to look at and talk about, don't be shy and have a chat with people cause we're all there for the same reason. Theres a good few people set to join us this month.

Starting to get a few regulars now but everyone is welcome. Tbh we didn't know a lot of people when we set it up and felt a bit daft stood there waiting for strangers to turn up!

It's all a bit of fun. Hopefully more Fords will turn up to represent.

Free soft drink refills and food stays on all night for the meet. Weather should be decent too.

 

i may pop over, depends on the misses though, been to a couple of meets in the last couple of weeks.

Over the moon, my car has made it there and back trouble free.

Some nice motors on display, weather could have been a bit better, had a chat with a few decent people.

Massive thanks for coming guys, weather is always against us but if it rains bad we just head inside for food and chat.

Hopefully you liked how laid back and friendly it was (and non chavvy). Couple people have mentioned its refreshing to be around other car nuts without dickheads turning up.

Think me and james are going to do some scouting around cause if the weather is good next month we may head off for playtime afterwards.

Few on eBay but some are bit tatty.
